Every custom drum in the video is finished differently from the raw drum shells to the end, which will give you a plethora of knowledge that can be expanded on to create your own unique visions. Drummers are naturally creative and this DVD taps into that creativity. You are going to see new and unique designs of your own.
The different drum finishes shown are: a collage finish, black stain with a satin finish over a maple shell, scarlet red stain and high gloss lacquer over a birdseye veneer, sunburst color fade with aerosol cans, and a striped laminate (wrap).
The sixth drum made in the last chapter deals with simple rules and guides to working with acrylic drums.
